Construction Milestone for Land Estate
The SKF Development team is pleased to report that bluebird winter days have made possible an epic construction milestone for the vacant land now selling at Sceniq. Recent amazing weather (which the Northern Rivers region is famous for) means earthworks on site have now reached 50%! At halfway toward completion, Sceniq’s simply looking incredible, and the first 48 homesites, roads, park and more are really taking shape.

Along with construction work on site progressing, land sales continue to reflect strong local demand for well-located, well-priced elevated residential lots for sale in the Gold Coast / Tweed Shire.
Sceniq is now over 77% sold! Strong land sales are being driven by owner occupiers currently looking to build their forever home. With limited new land options available to purchase across the Gold Coast and Tweed Coast region, enquiry continues to be strong at Sceniq, where just 11 homesites now remain for sale.

Construction update from onsite civil team
The local civil contractor working on site to deliver this new residential community, CD Civil (responsible for delivering many local Tweed projects such as nearby Scenic Ridge, Altitude at Terranora and the Tweed Valley Hospital), provided us the following progress update as at 22 July 2024.
After a few wet weather days early in the month, construction is currently full steam ahead during these crisp Northern NSW winter days we’re now used to enjoying. CD Civil advised they will hit an incredible 50% progress milestone this week for cut and fill earthworks on the first 48 homesites in Stages 1 and 2!
Undergrounding the former overhead powerlines which traverse the Bilambil Heights site continues to progress, with some sections near Walmsleys Road now complete. Watermains works have now been completed and future house connection points to the lots are set to be completed by the end of the week. CD Civil are already underway with new sewer work installations.
A large retaining wall along the eastern side of the project (Stage 1 homesites, near Sceniq Park) is now substantially complete (see photo above).
We are very excited to continue watching the civil team’s ongoing work in shaping the finished levels of the homesites in Stages 1 and 2 … ready for you to build your new, dream home.
Weather permitting, Stage 1 is still on track for completion at the end of 2024, with settlements to occur in early 2025 ready for Sceniq’s first residents to commence building. The recently expedited Stage 2 is not far behind, and we expect completion of these homesites in early 2025.
We will continue to keep you updated as construction nears completion. Buyers will receive adequate notice to prepare for settlement, however please don’t hesitate to reach out for more information.
NOTE: Inspections on site are strictly by appointment only. This is both for your safety and the safety of workers on site, as well as in courtesy to our patient neighbours who will let us know if you’re jumping fences.
